Central’s deacons strive to “serve well as deacons” to “gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 3:13). Their primary responsibility is to serve and care for the body of Christ. Our deacons come together monthly to provide updates on their families and pray for their needs. They do not discuss buildings and grounds projects or church politics. They assist our pastoral staff in serving and caring for Central’s families to ensure that no one is neglected.
